End Of Year Message from our Managing Director

I would like to start my letter by saying a very big thank you to all of our clients, suppliers, candidates and our own staff and I wish you all a joyful Christmas with your families and loved ones.

As I look back on 2018 it fills me with both joy and sadness. From a business point of view it has been another successful year for our company with more new clients that we are extremely proud to be partners with.



Away from my day to day job and on a very personal level it has been a really difficult year launching a campaign to get justice for a very close friend of mine, who’s son (his only child) was tragically stabbed to death in a nightclub in Stourbridge.



And if this was not hard enough for my friend to have to come to terms and deal with, in some form of tortuous and still completely unbelievable reason, his killer, who admitted to stabbing him, was allowed to walk free from court earlier this year without any punishment what so ever for his actions!!!



So this year instead of buying our usual client gifts and company marketing material, we will be donating to the Justice For Ryan fund, to help the family raise vital funds towards their legal costs to try and help challenge and overturn this horrendous and perverse decision.

Back to business.....  For many, it has been an extremely unsettling and unnerving year for businesses, given the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and what will happen next?



We have also noticed a drop in permanent recruitment activity over the last 2 quarters, as companies remain cautious about increasing head count whilst so much uncertainty remains.



Whilst we cannot help in regards to what will eventually happen with Brexit, I do hope we may be able help our clients with regards to any uncertainty they may have when they next look to hire.
