Job Description

Supply Chain / Logistics Administrator required for our global manufacturing company based in Four Ashes - Wolverhampton - We requires someone intially for a 6 month Contract. You will be responsible and accountability for managing all aspects from processing customer orders, shipping from manufacturing sites, external warehouse or from affiliates' sites direct to customers
and maintaining customer data held in the corporate ERP system.

Responsible for the planning and execution of Transportation & Logistics and Compliance inclding customs activities.
Order Processing:
Review and evaluate customer orders ennsuring the most efficient logistical arrangement to maximize freight economics;
Accurately enter customer orders into corporate enterprise system, ensuring proper internal systems are populated as needed to ensure efficient handling of orders.
Work with Sales & Marketing Departments to ensure correct pricing, payment terms and freight terms are entered for each order.
Create unique and standard documents as needed for customer shipments, ensuring timely movement of product.
Handle customer or vendor questions and issues, passing or elevating them to other departments to resolve as necessary.
Implement and manage vendor managed inventory programs with specific customers.
Monitor customer supply and calculate shipping dates to maintain their requested stock levels.
Oversee the supply chain process from forecasting and product availability through delivery to the customer.
Maintain customer data (including but not limited to addresses, partners, notes, and specification codes) in the corporate enterprise system.
Execute indirect and/or direct procurement of assigned logistics areas while balancing "cost to serve" with quality and service requirements
Responsible to execute logistics management in line with Global Distribution and Logistics, and Global Procurement guidelines, Order to Cash principles and Service Level Agreements
Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines and freight carriers as needed to coordinate bookings and shipments of export orders. Follow up on any shipment problems, troubleshooting as necessary.

Experience required:
5yrs of supply chain or logistics experience
Familiar with Dangerous Goods, customs, free trade, trade origin, Letter of Credit,
Strong user knowledge in MS-Outlook, MS-Excel, MS-Word, SharePoint,
SAP knowledge Advantagous
Good communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.

Working hours: 8AM TO 4PM Mon - Thurs & 8AM TO 2.30PM Friday
