Our Client is a new and fast expanding tech start up company with the vision of a global leader!
We are looking for an energetic and visionary Strategic Marketing Manager to help deliver to organisations ambitious growth strategy for its products within high value markets, such as automotive, aerospace and MOD.
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with previous experience of delivering corporate growth of technology products through both offline and online Marketing & Sales channels.
You will be part of the newly formed Strategic Marketing & Sales Team - including Advertising, Digital Marketing, Content and PR. The team cover a wide breadth of content ranging from strategic marketing down to web design, video and social content, pay per click and global exhibitions. The team are also responsible for online copywriting including product descriptions, help & advice and the online blogs and online product support of the products.

This senior role is accountable for the development and delivery of an annual content plan working cross functionally with wider marketing and commercial teams to ultimately support the long term strategic strategy of the business.

You will be responsible for leading the Strategic Marketing team who manage the development and delivery of content to raise awareness and consideration of our products and services in the global marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the development and execution of all strategic and tactical content from brief through to evaluation for both brand and cross category trading
• Day to day management of content development through media partnerships.
• Set effective processes and work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure all content supports SEO objectives and requirements.
• Work cross functionally across other marketing and business functions to ensure all major campaigns are supported with integrated content that can be distributed across all channels including social and websites
• Manage in house production facility creating both internal and external content.
• Support the Sales Manager in managing relationships with creative agencies including the tendering process when relevant to ensure best value is delivered.
• Utilise customer insight to ensure all content is customer focussed and report to the product design team to further enhance product design and effectiveness
• Use robust processes for the management of campaigns including sign off, delivery and budget management.
• Ensure clear and measurable KPIs are agreed and set for all campaigns/content and lead the campaign evaluation process with finance to measure success and inform future activity.
• Thought leadership on content gap analysis within the business to ensure content is planned in time for relevant campaigns, supporting and in line with customer search and demand.
• Lead the management and reporting of all expenditure in line with annual content budget.
• Demonstrate multi layered communication with all internal stakeholders building strong and effective relationships across the business.
• Leadership and management of direct report(s); maximising value from individual input, professional and personal development
• Developing and effectively managing and reporting on junior members of the team whilst ensuring they have sufficient pipeline of work suitable to their ability and qualification.
• Planning and deliver within a team product sales at global exhibition events include Europe and the United States

Skills & Attributes required:
• A Creative flair combined with project management skills is essential for success in this role.
• This role requires a candidate with first class relationship building skills and an upbeat, bubbly personality, a high attention to detail.
• Ability to inspire, lead, direct, organise and motivate others.
• The ability to write engaging copy and the ability to deliver insight from analytics tools.
• B2b marketing experience ideally in the tech sector
• The ability to use and collect data to drive marketing campaigns
• Experience of Organic and paid campaigns across social media
• Experience of Google Analytics
• An ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment and a driver of new ideas

Salary guide: c£30,000 pa + OTE annual bonus of £2500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0830 - 1700

Occasional global travel and weekend events will be required.
