Job Description

Inventory Clerk required our successful and well respected Manufacturing client, based in Stourbridge.

Throughout your employment, you will gain a full Apprenticeship in Business Admin.

Reporting directly to the Inventory Controller, you will play a critical and important role in ensuring the stock integrity across two sites. You will ensure that all stock records are accurate and that stock losses and errors are kept to a minimum, highlighting and investigating stock discrepancies, to deliver a high class service performance. You will review daily & weekly statistics and send out information to the managers.

You will also be required to work closely with other department Team Members / Team Leaders. They must have an appreciation of the interdependencies between functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation of effective stocktaking schedules, systems and procedures.
• Conduct PI stock counts within company guidelines and timescales.
• Investigate variances against physical count of inventory and maintain records and information relating to differences.
• Periodically validate process and controls around stock movements and highlight any improvements required.
• Control the systemic processing of product damages, customer returns and claims operations.
• Maintain and develop efficiencies through continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all issues relating to Health & Safety, the Environment and Security.
Management Information reports.

Salary Guide: Minimum wage

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8:30am-4.30pm and Fridays 8:30am-3:30pm with half an hour lunch (36.5 hours per week)
